We are seeking a talented and experienced WordPress Developer to join our team. As a WordPress Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining WordPress websites for our clients. You will work closely with our project managers, designers, and other developers to create customized WordPress themes and plugins that meet our clients’ needs.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Collaborate with project managers, designers, and other developers to understand client requirements and develop innovative solutions.
Design and develop WordPress websites using best practices and industry standards.
Customize and extend existing WordPress themes and plugins to meet client specifications.
Optimize website performance and ensure compatibility across different browsers and devices.
Perform regular website maintenance, including updates, backups, and security enhancements.
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to WordPress development.
Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in WordPress development.
Skills and Qualifications:
2-3 years of experience as a WordPress Developer or in a similar role.
Strong proficiency in WordPress, including theme and plugin development.
Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
Experience with front-end frameworks such as Bootstrap.
Familiarity with responsive web design principles.
Knowledge of SEO best practices.
Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Education and Certifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field is preferred.
Relevant certifications in WordPress or web development are a plus.
