Job Description:

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Site Supervisor for Interior Work to join our team in Kollam, Kerala. As a Site Supervisor, you will play a vital role in overseeing and managing all aspects of interior projects, ensuring their successful execution within established timelines and budgets. You will work closely with our project manager, subcontractors, and team members to ensure that our projects are completed to the highest standards of quality.

Responsibilities:

– Supervise and coordinate all interior work activities on-site, including carpentry, painting, flooring, electrical installations, plumbing, and other related tasks.

– Ensure strict adherence to project specifications, drawings, and quality standards.

– Monitor and manage the progress of interior work, making necessary adjustments to meet project timelines and requirements.

– Collaborate with the project manager to develop work schedules and efficiently allocate resources.

– Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.

– Conduct regular inspections to verify that work is being carried out according to approved plans and specifications.

– Address any issues or concerns raised by the project team, subcontractors, or clients promptly and effectively.

– Maintain accurate records of work progress, material usage, and daily reports.

– Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations on-site.

– Train and supervise site workers, providing guidance and support as needed.

Requirements:

– Proven experience as a Site Supervisor or similar role in the interior construction industry.

– Strong knowledge of interior construction methods, materials, and practices.

– Proficient in reading and interpreting architectural and engineering drawings.

– Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

– Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

– Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

– Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with project teams, subcontractors, and clients.

– Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.

– Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, or a related field is preferred.

– Relevant certifications in construction management or site supervision are a plus.
