CALL FOR RESEARCH STAFF/PH. D POSITION
For a funded project under Chip to Startup (C2S) Program (MeitY) at Rajagiri School of Engineering & Technology, Kochi
Position description: This project aims to develop a VLSI semiconductor component along with its software framework which will be an integral part of a video analysis system designed for autonomous classification and anomaly detection in real time video streams from CCTV cameras. This position is to develop the software framework which has to be integrated with the VLSI semiconductor component.
Applications are invited from interested and motivated candidates for a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) (for 3 years) as per the following details:
Position: Project Assistant (Junior Research Fellow) )(With provision to upgraded to Senior Research Fellow in the subsequent years based on performance).
Duration: 3 years (Fulltime)
Qualification: A candidate with M.E/M. Tech/M. S or B Tech (CGPA of 7.75 or above) in CSE/IT/ECE/EEE or allied branches who would like to pursue a Ph. D degree at KTU (Note: KTU Ph. D registration is open for B Tech (CGPA of 7.75 or above candidates). Strong coding and some kind of exposure to VLSI/ Embedded Systems are expected. Experience in working with embedded development boards is highly desirable for the candidate.
Remuneration: Rs.31,000/- + 16% HRA
