Responsibilities:

Conduct assessments to identify students’ strengths, weaknesses, and learning styles..

Deliver specialized instruction using various teaching strategies, adaptive materials, and assistive technologies.

Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters students’ self-esteem and engagement.

Implement behavior management techniques and interventions to promote positive behavior and social skills.

Collaborate with support staff to provide necessary accommodations and modifications.

Work closely with parents, guardians, and other professionals to address students’ individual needs.

Foster effective communication channels to keep all stakeholders well-informed about student development.

Continuously assess student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly.

Maintain accurate records of students’ achievements, challenges, and behavioral observations.

Collaborate with colleagues to analyze assessment data and make informed decisions about instructional approaches.

Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree in special education or a related field.

Job Types: Full-time, Day Shift.
