Altroz Turbo

The turbo petrol version of the premium hatchback Altroz is likely to go on sale next month. The Tata Altroz event, scheduled for the 13th of this month, is expected to be the launch of the long-running Altroz Turbo petrol. Instead, the possibility of any limited edition of the Altroz being unveiled at the event cannot be completely ruled out.

‘Altroz’ goes on sale in the Indian market earlier this year; The car is currently available with petrol and diesel engines. The only transmission is likely to be a five-speed manual gearbox. Therefore, it is speculated that the dual clutch transmission may be included with the new presentation.

The car’s 1.2 liter, turbo petrol engine is expected to be capable of producing up to 110 ps of power. The engine is mated to a five-speed manual gearbox and a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. The exterior is not expected to be as revolutionary as the Altroz Turbo. The main difference is the ‘turbo’ badge affixed below the rear tailgate; Similar badges are possible on the front grille.

The Altroz Turbo is also available in Tectonic Blue, the compact SUV Nexus. ‘Altroz’ is not currently sold in this color. With the new launch, Tata Motors will be launching the Hyundai i20 Turbo and the Volkswagen Polo. Tata expects the Altroz Turbo to be priced between Rs 7.99 lakh and Rs 8.59 lakh.
