Realme 9i 5G – A Budget Friendly Phone With 5G Compatibility

The budget-friendly smartphone brand realme launches its 9i variant realme 9i 5G with packed
features. The phone can be availed under a 20k budget and for the price it costs, this phone
won’t disappoint you. Realme 9i 5G is available in 2 variants, 4 GB ram/64 GB internal storage
and 6 GB ram/128 GB internal storage with the first model available for a price of Rs 14,999/-
and the second model for a price of Rs 16,999/-.

There isn’t much difference between realme 9i and 9i 5G other than the latest has a flat-edged
design and 5G compatibility. They all have similar features but the camera built-in realme 9i 5G
is clean and smooth without any protruding on the outside. Weighing only 187 grams the phone
is easy to carry and hold, and the flat-edged design makes it look premium. Inspired by this
year’s Met Gala, the phone has a Metallica Gold color which might not be suitable for
everyone’s liking. But don’t worry, the phone is available in two more colors, soulful blue and
rocking black with both of them being appalling and comparatively likeable.

and has an auto-select feature. According to the screen activity, the device can switch refresh
rates between 60 and 90Hz with this feature. You can switch between different apps and won’t
find any sudden animation differences. Realme 9i 5G runs on Android 12 OS and the realme UI
as usual gives a smooth user experience. The UI offers a wide range of colorful and flashy
themes for you, and the default theme is quite good as well. On the 6.5-inch panel, there is a
multi-window feature and floating window option too. You can pin an application to the screen
and can work on another app easily.

The phone is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 810 5G chipset and this is the major difference
between 9i 5G and its 4G counterpart as the latter is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon
680 chipset. With a 50mp+2mp+2mp rear camera and 8mp front camera, the phone supports
an excellent click for the photographer in you. Personally, with the price range it offers, realme
9i 5G is not disappointing at all. If you’re looking for the best shot on a low budget, then go for it
because it has almost all the features you need and gives a smooth performance.
