Xiaomi India sub-brand Redmi has introduced the new Redmi 9 Power smartphone with 6000 mAh battery and 48 MP quad-camera capability. Available in four colors (Mighty Black, Blessing Blue, Fairy Red, and Electric Green). The 4GB + 64GB variant is priced at Rs 10,999 and the 4GB + 128GB variant is priced at Rs 11,999.

The Redmi 9 Power is powered by a 6.53 inch Full HD + display. The screen of the phone also has the protection of Corning Gorilla Glass. The processor is Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 SoC. It comes with an octa-core CPU configuration. It can go up to 2GHz at peak load.

The phone has four cameras. It features a 48-megapixel primary lens, a 2-megapixel depth-of-field lens, and a 2-megapixel macro camera that sit next to an 8-megapixel ultraviolet lens. The phone also has an 8 megapixel selfie camera.

The phone is powered by a 6,000 mAh battery with an 18W fast charger. The company claims that it can make 14 hours of VoLTE calls on a 30 minute charge. This model has a 3.5mm headphone jack and stereo speakers. It also supports an IR blaster for reverse wireless charging.
