Suzuki, the leading two-wheeler manufacturer in India The BS-6 version of the Gixxer 250 and Gixxer 250 SF bikes were introduced. The Naked Street Fighter Model Gixxer 250 is priced at Rs 1.63 lakh while the Sport version Gixxer 250 SF is priced at Rs 1.74 lakh (ex-showroom India).


The official bikes are expected to arrive in dealerships in the coming days. Manufacturers have announced that the bikes will be delivered to customers in mid-June after the lockdown in the country has ended. Suzuki has already opened the bookings for these models.

High 249cc to BS6 standards & Single Cylinder for Stroke SOHC. This vehicle is powered by the engine. It produces 26bhp and 22.2Nm of torque. The transmission is powered by a six-speed gearbox equipped with Suzuki’s oil cooling system.

The design of both bikes is unchanged. The SF250p attains a large fairing, low clip-on handlebar, sporty LED headlamp, 17-inch multi-spoke alloy wheel with diamond cut finish, full LCD instrument console, dual exit exhaust outlet and split seat.

Both models are 2010mm long, 740mm wide, 1035mm tall and 1345mm wheelbase. Ground clearance is 165mm and seat height is 800mm. The suspension has a telescopic fork and rear monoshock for a comfortable ride. Dual channel ABS with disc brake on front and back for safety.

The Suzuki Gixxer 250 BS rivals are the CBR250 and the Yamaha Phaser 250 in the Indian market.
