How to Prevent Acne

Acne is an inflammation of the hair follicles, leaving behind dead skin cells and dirt. There are a few things we can do at home to combat this.

Keep your face clean: Wash your face twice a day. It helps remove dirt, dead cells and oil. A warm face wash or light warm water can be used to wash your face. Avoid heavy soap. Frequent washing of face is not advisable, as it should be kept clean.

Moisturize: Many medications to control acne can cause skin dryness. So choose a good moisturizer and use it. Buy only products that are shown on the label that will not cause acne. There is a suitable moisturizer for every skin.

Beware of the sun: sun exposure can increase the inflammation of acne. Avoid sunburns when possible and between 10 am and 2 pm.

Don’t put on makeup: Wash your face with makeup before going to bed. Use oil-free cosmetics if possible. You should also make sure they do not contain dye or other substances. It is best to read the materials before purchasing them.

Do not touch acne: Occasionally you should avoid acne. Not only does the infection spread to other areas, it also increases the risk of acne.
