Job description: Business Developer (Sales and Marketing) – Marketing Agency

Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven individual to join our marketing agency as a Business Developer. This position requires a passion for sales and a solid understanding of basic digital marketing concepts. As a Business Developer, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth for our agency by identifying new clients, nurturing relationships, and implementing effective sales and marketing strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy Development:

Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the agency’s client base.
Develop and execute sales strategies that align with the agency’s goals and objectives.
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to stay informed about industry trends and client needs.
Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling proposals and presentations for potential clients.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.

Lead Generation and Conversion:

Generate qualified leads through various channels, including networking, referrals, cold outreach, and digital marketing initiatives.
Engage with prospects, understand their marketing needs, and present tailored solutions that demonstrate the agency’s value.
Collaborate with the creative team to develop marketing collateral and materials that support the sales process.

Client Relationship Management:

Act as the primary point of contact for clients, understanding their objectives, and providing strategic marketing solutions.
Foster long-term client relationships by delivering exceptional service and exceeding expectations.
Continuously assess client satisfaction, identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling, and work towards client retention and growth.
Collaborate with the account management team to ensure smooth project handoffs and maintain client satisfaction throughout the engagement.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Proven experience in sales or business development roles within a marketing agency or related industry.
Strong understanding of digital marketing concepts and techniques
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills to effectively engage with clients and stakeholders.
Results-oriented mindset with a track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
