Job Description:

We are seeking dynamic and customer-oriented individuals to join our team as Customer Service Associate for our hypermarket in Kochi, Kerala. As a CSA, you will play a pivotal role in providing exceptional customer service, ensuring product availability, and maintaining a well-organized shopping environment. Your dedication and attention to detail will contribute to the overall success of our hypermarket.

Responsibilities:

Customer Service Excellence:

Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding the products they need.
Offer product knowledge, recommendations, and advice to enhance the shopping experience.
Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints with professionalism and efficiency.
Strive to meet or exceed customer satisfaction goals.

Product Management:

Maintain a well-stocked and visually appealing sales floor by arranging products neatly on shelves.
Ensure accurate pricing, proper labeling, and attractive displays to enhance product visibility.
Implement a “first in, first out” approach to prevent expired or damaged products from being sold.
Monitor stock levels, promptly report stock-outs, and assist in restocking activities.
Regularly inspect products for quality, freshness, and expiration dates to ensure customer safety.

Merchandising and Store Standards:

Assist in executing merchandising plans to create an appealing shopping environment.
Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the sales floor, storage areas, and workstations.
Collaborate with team members to implement promotions, sales campaigns, and seasonal displays.
Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
Assist in the implementation of loss prevention measures to minimize theft and product damage.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Prior experience in a customer service or retail environment is preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as needed.
